Remake Me aims to:

- inspire and encourage you to reuse materials that would otherwise be sent to landfill

- reintroduce you to making and mending skills (remaking) that have largely been lost over the past generation

- promote self-sufficiency, resourcefulness and creativity

- reduce your consumption

- help you to create objects that you will have an emotional attachment to, by reusing materials from around your home that have a personal history

- illustrate to you how these experiences can be far more rewarding than objects themselves

- facilitate an on-line community of Remakers where you can share ideas and exhibit your creations in the gallery
